LONDON WOOL SALES Reed. 1t.3 am. LONDON, Monday. At the wool sales S.OS7 bales were offered. Including 1,942 from New Zealand. About 2,650 were sold. There was a small offering of greasy Merinos and a good selection of New Zealand wools, with a keen general competition. Prices were unchanged. New Zealand Glenada scoured combing 26 Jd; scoured halfbred combing 24d: best greasy crossbred, 2 4.9<U i-dipe, super, halfbred combing, 13id. Paieora halfbred lambs, 13£d: greasy crossbreds Puruatanga, 12d and Hid. WMK/SV, 123 d and 12£d; halfbred Hakataramea. 3 42d and 3 4£d. Bradford is quiet. Quota.tions are fully maintained. At the wool sales the market was £Qual to the best rates of last week lor all descriptions. Fleece skirtings met with excellent general competiUop * and comebacks and crossbreds sold readily. Greasy Merino fleece made up to 22Ad. ~ The offerings totalled 10,005 bales, of which 9.401 oaies were sold. Also 1,101 bales Mere sold privately.

A net profit for the 3’ear of £3,214 j 19s 3d in the operations of the Dunedin h’tock Exchange is reported by ! the directors to the shareholders. The I balance from the previous year brings j this amount to £7,315 7s 3d. From this sum, an interim dividend jof £1,500 was paid last November. ; The directors now recommend the I payment of a dividend at the rate of | ir* "per cent, a year for the half-year i ended April 30.
