CITY IN DANGER
SPARK FROM HORSE-SHOE SETS OIL ALIGHT DAMAGE £IOO,OOO Reed. 11.5 a.m. VANCOUVER, Sun. At Ripon, Wisconsin, a runaway horse broke an oil pipeline, and a spark from the horseshoe fired the oil, causing a blaze which did damage of £IOO,OOO, and at one time threatened to destroy the town of Cleveland.
