AUCKLAND V. ROYAL NAVY MR. NEESHAM’S SELECTION In view of Wellington’s early challenge for the English trophy the first representative match of the season will be staged on the Sovereign’s Birthday, June 3, when the ever-popular fixture Auckland v. Royal Navy will be staged at Blandford Park. With all the ships in port and' the full strength of the service available, the Navy will field an exceptionally strong eleven which will fully extend the local representatives.
Mr. A. P Neesham selected the following to represent Auckland: Batty (Tramways), Reid (New Accord). Gerrard (Shore), Morrison (Ponsonby), Christies (Tramways), D. Jones (Shore), Innes (Ponsonby), Forrester (Ponsonby), Spencer (Tramways). Hislop (Thistle), and AT. Kav (Y.M.C.A.).
