"THE LOOK OUT MAN”
One of a pair of crowned h»* K | eagles at the London Zoo has takf B I on the role of “look-out” so assiau- : ously that special measures have been taken to satisfy him. The birds —which are the most savage of the inmates of the birds prey aviaries—occupy a large dome® ’ cage from the top of which them is a view of Regent's Park. This proved so attractive to th® eagle that he spent the day ciingm* to the wires. This was proving so disastrous t® the feathers of his tail that a P**v form has been erected for his comfort. It is hoped that the platform j serve for nesting, but the look-oot : evidently regards it as solely i sight-seeing, and he has taken octn® i possession of it.
