Round the Churches

Divine services, morning and even- 1 ing, will be conducted at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Parneil, and the preacher at both services will be Canon Fancourt. The Rev. Walter Bentley, who will continue his two week’s mission at St. Matthew’s Church, Wellbsley Street, and will be the preacher at both morning and evening services. “Why Be a Church Member?” will be the subject treated by the Rev. Lioned B. at the 11 o’clock service of the Beresford Street Con gregational Church, and in the evening he will preach upon “If There Were No Christ.” The Rev. W. Lawson Marsh will be the preacher at the morning and evening services of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Devonport. Elsie Lincoln Benedict, internationally famous lecturer, will speak upon “The Power of Personality," at the 7 | o’clock evening service of the Balmoral Presbyterian Church, Balmoral Road. “Dr. Luke’s Preface” is the subject : chosen by the Rev. T. N. Cuttle, at the morning service of the Somervell Piesbyterian Church. The First Church of Christ, Christian Science, will conduct morning and evening services at the Church Hail, Symonds Street. An address by Mr. Belz will be given at the seven’ o’clock evening meeting of the Progressive Church of Spiritualists, Newmarket. * * The fifth week of the Harry Dawson Mission will commence at the Grange Road Baptist Church. “Palestine” will be the topic at the evening service of the Christadelphians, Freemasons’ Hall, Belgium Street. * e * Deaconess Sunday will be celebrated by services at the Pitt Street Methodist Church, and the preacher will be the Rev. W. Walker. Mr. T. W. Silcock will be the speaker at the 11 o’clock service of the Auckland Higher Thought Temple, and in the evening the speaker wil be Mr. H. F. Robinson.

Morning and evening services will be conducted by the Mount Eden Congregational Church. “A Holy Ghost Revival” will be the subject at the morning service of the Revival Fire in Covenant Hall. • <* if A bright musical service for men will be held by the Y.M.C.A. at 4.15 p.m. * * •» Services, morning and evening, will be conducted by St. John’s Church, Auckland West Circuit. “Spiritual Riches” will be the address given by Mrs. Philpot at the evening service of the Spiritual Scientists’ Church. ♦ * * A meeting will be held by the International Bible Students’ Association at G. 45 p.m. <3= * * An exposition of our historic faith will be given by Mr. C.
