MRS. WOOD SPEAKS ON NATIONAL COUNCIL The weekly meeting of the Women’s Progress Club was held on Wednesday afternoon at the Higher Thought Temple, corner of Pitt and AVellington Streets. TJ ie w Pe ? ker for the occasion was if , Wood, a delegate from the National Council of Women, with which organisation the Progress Club has recently affiliated. Mrs. Wood, who was listened to attentively by a large and appreciative audience, gave an account of the many departments of life affecting the interests of women in which reforms had been effected, as a result of action on the part of the National Council of \1 omen.
