MRS. DUDLEY DORMAN TO MAKE HER HOME AT NORFOLK ISLAND PROVINCIAL PRESIDENT LEAVES
The Auckland Federation of Women's Institutes has lost a very capable president in Mrs. Dudley Dorman, of Glen Eden, who left with Mr. Dorman by the Maunganui yesterday for Sydney, en route to Norfolk Island. Air. and Mrs. Dorman were accom- / anied by their small daughter, Joyce, and it is their intention to make their homo on the island for several years. While there, Airs. Dorman hopes to organise a Norfolk Island Women’s Institute. Before leaving Auckland she was entertained at a farewell function arranged by the combined North Shore institutes, and last week was presented with a very handsome dressing case by members of the institutes on the town side of the harbour. Airs. Irwin, a vice-president of the provincial federation, will take Airs. Dorman’s place until the next annual meeting.
