ANNUAL CONVENTION AMENDMENTS TO PLATFORM Special to The sux WHANGAREI, Friday. At the annual convention of the Country Party, held in Whangarei. Mr. A. A. Ross presiding, Mr. H. M. Rushwyrth. M.P., gave an address dealing with his Parliamentary experience. -Several additions and amendments to the party’s platform were made. It was decided to include a plank with reference to the derating of agricultural lands, and to support an amendment to the Defence Act, calling for a complete revision of methods.
