GERMANY HARD HIT
HAS 2,000,000 UNEMPLOYED AND BIG DEFICIT £10,000,000 DOWN BERLIN, Friday. The German Government is expected to face a deficit of £10,000,000 at the end of this year mainly owing to the unemployed, who still number more than 2,000,000. Two courses are open to the Cabine*. but both would create difficulties. The first is to increase taxation and the second to raise an unemployment fund by means of contributions.
