WATER-WINGS?

Owing to the large number of important fixtures during the present year, the Wellington Rugby Union has decided that all competition matches will be played each Saturday irrespective of the weather, and will only be postponed should there be a blizzard. If Wellington strikes a wet winter, as has been the case for some years past, it will be necessary for players to wear water-wings on some of the grounds.
