TEACHERS’ APPEAL BOARDS

1930 APPOINTMENTS MADE Press Association WELLINGTON, Thursday. The appointments to the teachers’ appeal boards for 1930 are gazetted this evening. The boards are set up to hear appeals in connection with grading and classification. They consist of the following members: Chairman, Mr. Andrew Duncan Thomson; representatives of the Education Department, Messrs. Alexander Bell, William Watson Bird, Nelson Thomas Lambourne; representatives of the teachers in secondary schools, Messrs. Thomas Brodie and Frank Hyde Campbell, technical school teachers, Messrs. Frederick William Martin and Robert John Thompson; primary school teachers, North Island, Messrs. Alfred Joseph Charles Hall and Frank Livingston Combs; South Island, Messrs, Henry Frank Penlington and David Dickie Steadman.
