PROGRESS OF SENIOR COMPETITION TEAMS FOR TOMORROW Senior hockey on Saturday ■will again he distributed at Remueru and Walker Park. A. good deal of interest attaches to tho meeting of University and Mount Eden, at Remuera. As will be seen from the appended table Varsity heads the ladder, having von all games to date. Mount Eden is one game behind, owing to the bye, but has not yet lost, though the team drew last Saturday with St. Duke’s. X)n paper a stern go with honours easy should be seen. Wesley will be up against St. Duke’s also at Remuera. The latter eleven has been in form this season and should take points from their less experienced opponents. ASSOCIATION MEETING A meeting of the Auckland Ladies’ Hockey Association was held this week, Miss P. Dawson presiding. Tho University Club was given permission to arrange a practice game with the Kiwi Club at Remuera. tomorrow. The Ngataringa Club was given permission to wear red and blue striped ties instead of plain red ties, and to wear the team monogram on the sweaters instead of on berets It was decided that the association’s
rules would not permit of sub-assoc- : iation teams participating in the forthcoming Kings Birthday tournament at Remuera on June 3.
