TRADERS' FINANCE CORP. OPERATIONS FOR HALF YEAR The directors of the Traders’ Finance Corporation, Dtd., have issued a report covering the operations for the six months ended March 31. During the period general trade conditions have made business difficult, but the transactions put through have been clean and the interest rates have been well maintained, and a net profit of £4,263 2s lid was made, says the report. After adding the balance remaining from last year, £872 Is Bd, and deducting the dividend on preference shares, amounting to £1,192 13s lid and which has since been paid, a net balance qf £3,942 10s 8d remains to the credit of appropriation account, out of which provision has still to be made for income tax. bad debts and depreciation of office furniture and littings. Great care was being exercised with current business and it was anticipated that no losses had been incurred in excess of the usual trade risks in the last six months’ trading.
