EXCESS OF WITHDRAWALS
TRANSACTIONS OF P.O. SAVINGS BANK BALANCE DOWN £978,805 Press Association WELLINGTON, Thursdaj’. Withdrawals from the Post Office Savings Bank during the quarter ended March 31 amounted to £7,595,70, compared with £6,517,949 for the corresponding quarter of last year. Deposits were £6,016,965, and £008,589, respectively. There was an excess of withdrawals of £978,805 this year compared with an excess of deposits during the corresponding quarter last year.
