FALL ON STAIRS
WOMAN BREAKS A LEG A compound fracture of the leg was suffered by Mrs. Bruce, aged 60, of 90 Grafton Road, shortly before midday yesterday when she fell downstairs at a Queen Street tearooms. The hospital ambulance made a record trip in conveying Mrs. Bruce to the hospital and it was under ten minutes from the time the call was received until the patient -was admitted to the institution.
