OWN LIFE TAKEN BECAUSE HE DISAPPROVED PACT JAPAN OFFICIAL’S SUICIDE TOKYO. Tuesday. Lieutenant-Commander Kusakari, of the Naval Staff, committed suicide today, to mark his disapproval of Japan’s alleged failure at the Five Powers Naval Conference. Admiral Takarabe is engaged in endeavouring to reconcile Admiral Kato and the other naval “diehards.” who are antagonistic to the London Naval Treaty.
