THE MAUNGANUI.—The Maunganui is to be dispatched at 3 p m. on Friday for Sydney with passengers, mails and cargo.
ENTON LEAVES NEW YORK.—Cabled advice has been received by the A. and A. Line, that the motor-ship Enton left New York on A Lay 11 and Newport News on Alay 13. with cai'go for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on June 18.
POOLTA SAILS 10 P.M.—The cargo steamer Poolta arrived in port last evening with nearly 2,000 tons of hardwood from Grafton and Newcastle. She berthed at King’s Wharf to discharge 700 tons and is to be dispatched at 10 p.m. today for Napier, Dunedin, Bluff and Greymouth to complete unloading.
GREYMOUTH UNWORKABLE.—The bar at Greymouth has been unworkable for some days past, and there are now seven Union Company’s vessels held up there. The vessels bar-bound are:— Loading for Wellington: The Kaihika, Kaimai, Kamona and Ngatoro. For Auckland: The Katina; and for Australia, the Gabriella and Kartigi.
DAGFRED FROM PACIFIC COAST.— The Norwegian motor-ship Dagfred left Los Angeles on Alay 9 with cargo from Pacific Coast ports for Noumea. New Zealand and Australia. , The vessel will unload 300 tons at Auckland and the remainder of the cargo at Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., is the local agent. She is due liei*e on June 2.
RUAHINE DUE TOMORROW.-The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahine, now at Gisborne loading for London, is expected to leave there at 3 o’clock this afternoon for Auckland to complete. She should arrive here late tomorrow morning, and will berth at Central Wharf. With passengers and mails she is to be dispatched from this port on Alay 27 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal.
WAIPAHI WITH ORANGES.—With the season’s first shipment of oranges from Rarotonga, the Union Company’s steamer Waipahi arrived in the stream early this morning. She had an uneventful trip, leaving Rarotonga on the evening of Alay 14, and having a fine weather passage. She leaves at 11 p.m. tomorrow for Portland and Wellington to complete discharge of the fruit cargo. THE RANGITATA.—Expected from Wellington at about noon today, the New Zealand Shipping Company's motorliner Rangitata was allotted a berth at Prince’s Wharf, where she is to continue discharge of her general cargo from London, and also start her Homeward loading. She will subsequently proceed to Bluff to complete unloading and continue to fill up, and from there loads at Port Chalmers. Lyttelton and Wellington. She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on June 21 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. Besides cargo she will take passengers and mails.

HAUTURU was to leave at 2 p.m. today for New Plymouth. She is due back at 7 a.m. on Friday and sails on the return trip at noon on Saturday.
HOKIANGA sails tomorrow for IXoki anga.
RONAKI i? expected back from Raglan and Kawhia at 6 a.m. tomorrow, and sails for Hokianga at 3 p.m. the same day.
GOLDEN CROSS TO LOAD. —Henderson and Macfarlane. Limited, advises that the American steamer Golden Cross, which is discharging and loading at Southern ports, is now due back at Auckland on May 30 to complete loading for Apia, Honolulu and Pacific Coast ports.
TARANAKI IN PORT. —An arrival in port this morning was the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s motor-ship Taranaki from New Plymouth. She berthed at Queen’s Wharf to continue her loading for London and is announced to sail on Saturday morning for Napier and Wellington to complete.
JUNE FROM NAURU ISLAND. —The Norwegian steamer June, under Captain H Hannevig, arrived last evening from Nauru Island with 6.800 tons of phosphate. She berthed this morning at King’s Wharf to unload to the agency of Henderson and Macfarlane, Limited. The vessel left Nauru on May 7, and encountered head winds and heavy seas on the way here. Her future movements are not yet announced.
