INDIAN HOCKEY TEAM
TO BE INVITED TO DOMINION Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. The New Zealand Hockey Association decided this evening to invite an Indian Army team to tour New Zealand, arriving In May of 1931 or 1932, and remaining in the Dominion for eight weeks. The Otago and Wellington Associations forwarded challenges for the New Zealand Challenge Shield. The first match was allotted to Otago, to be played not later than June 28. Challenges for the Norden Cup were received from Wanganui, Bush Union, and Taranaki Associations. The first match was allotted to Wanganui, to bo played not later than June 28. Nelson was granted control of the inter-island match.
