HUNTER EASED
SIGNS OF SORENESS J. Chisholm lias lost the services of the hunter, Soami, for the time being, and she will not race until the Pakuranga hunt meeting on August 23. Soami lias shown sign of soreness and her trainer has decided to restrict her to tasks on the roads for the next few weeks. With limited opportunities Soami has shown her usefulness and it is conceded that she may prove a wanner over fences during the winter. A capable juniper and one with plenty of pace, she is the right type to make a name for herself in this branch of the game.
