CHARGE OF STEALING MARORO FISCHER STILL ON BAIL The possibility o£ a settlement, hinted at by Mr. Moody last Wednesday, apparently not having been realised, the hearing of a charge ot stealing the launch Maroro preferred against Hugh Eugene Fischer, will be proceeded with at the Police Court on Thursday week. Fischer, an engineer, aged 49. was charged at the Police Court this morning with stealing the Maroro, valued at £350 and belonging to Laurence Pitcher, on November 18. Mr. Moody appeared for accused and Mr. J. <ssborne-Lilly, for the prosecutors. The remand was made and Fischer bailed in his own recognisance of £2OO.
