WAREHOUSES CLOSING

ONLY CHRISTCHURCH AND DUNEDIN BRANCHES \ It was inadvertently stated in yesterday’s Sun that the firm of Macky, Logan, Caldwell, Limited, was closing its Christchurch and Auckland branches. This should have read that the Christchurch and Dunedin branches were being' closed down from July 19. The management of the firm states that there is absolutely no question of selling to the public. The firm’s move is merely a question of policy in view of the ever-changing modern conditions. There is no possibility of any change in the policy of the firm’s business in the North Island.
