FIGHT AT PIE-CART
CONSTABLE THREATENED WITH SAUCE-BOTTLE JOCKEY GAOLED FOR MONTH Press Association WANGANUI, Today. Patrick McGuire, a jockey, was setfenced to one month's imprisonment for assault by the magistrate. Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M.. this morning. The evidence showed that McGnir* and a woman were drunk at a piecart when an altercation took plac» and he struck a man named ramp, bell on the mouth and threatened Cos. stable Nairn with a sauce bottle.
