LOST AT SEA
LASCAR DISAPPL \RS A Lascar mysteriously disappeared from the Ellerman-Hall Line cargo steamer City of Osaka when Irut vc.,. , i was about 1,000 miles out from Panama, en route from New York to Auckland. She arrived here yesterday mornin" The man was on the midnight to 4 a.m. watch on May 5. and was last seen at 2.30 a.m. that dav. tie was required at the end of his watch, but could not be found. The ship was searched exhausitivelv at once. The vessel was put about and the sea searched for over two hours hut without success. The missing man was about no years of age and had joined the vessel at Colombo.
