DAMAGES FOR WATERSIDER
INJURED BY WINCH Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. A watersideer, James Jepson. today in the Supreme Court was awarded £175 general damages, £l3 12s hospital expenses and £26 loss eJ earning for the loss of a finger. He was injured while handling cargo due to the negligence of a winchman. Plaintiff, it was stated, received £3 8s 5d a week for 26 weeks in compensation.
