REPARATIONS BANK.—The Bank for International Settlements created under the Young reparation plan was officially opened on Monday at Basle. P.S.A. TArUFF.--Tbe United States Senate has voted to abandon the debenture plan and the flexible tariff Plan, as provisions in the pending Tariff Bill. FOLD’S PROFITS. —The earnings of the Ford Motor Company, of Canada, were 5,232,819 dollars in 1929, compared with a net loss of 3,400,651 dollars in 1928.
