FOOTBALLER INJURED
ACCIDENT IN CAR From. Our Own Correspondent HUNTLY, Today. While proceeding to his home at Huntly West on Saturday night. Huia Mason, the well-known Rugby player, met with an accident. The motorcar in which he was travelling, failed to negotiate a sharp bend, and in the mix-up Mason’s elbow was badly crushed. He was sent to hospital, for an X-ray examination, and it is feared the arm is broken. The accident will keep Mason out of the football field for some time. Dan Whorskey was also a passenger, but beyond a severe shaking and shock he, and other Rugby men, escaped injury.
