LIMITS EXTENDED
AUCKLAND MEETING Alterations have been made in the classes of several races to be decided at the Auckland Trotting Club’s winter meeting on June 21 and 23. Limits of races on the first day have been extended as follow: —Winter Handicap of £250, 2 miles, for troting horses only, limit now 5m (.instead of 4.55); Mangere Handicap of £250, 15 miles, for horses that have done 2.24 or better to the mile (instead of 2.20). limit now 3.36 (instead of 3.285): Provincial Handicap of £250, 2 miles, for trotting horses only, limit now 4.52 (instead of 4.49); Stewards’ Handicap of £4OO. 2 miles, fo trotting horses only, limit 4.44 (instead of 4.40). On the second day the limits of the two races for' troting horses only have been amended as follow:—Royal Handicap of £250, 2 miles, limit now 4.57 (instead of 4.53): Members’ Handicap of £4OO, 2 miles, for trotting horses only of 4.40). The alterations have been made to meet the wishes of owners and trainers.
