FAST BANTAM-WEIGHTS SYDNEY. Sunday. At the Sydney Stadium last evening in a thrilling bantam-weight boxing contest Johnny Peters. Bst olb (England), knocked out Billy McCalister, Bst sJlb, bantam champion of Australia, in the 12tli round. The footwork of both men was light and beautifully easy. In a succession of exciting rallies the Australian received considerable punishment. At the Newcastle Stadium Jack Roberts (Newcastle), a light-weight, won on points against Norman Gillespie light-weight champion of Australia. in 15 rounds. Gillespie was sent down three times.
