KATOA is to be dispatched at noon tomorrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. MARGARET W. was expected at 1 p.m. today from Gisborne, and is to leave on the return trip at noon tomorrow. OTI.MAI leaves at 4 p.m. today for Ku tar ere and Opotiki. PAR ERA sails at 4 p.m. tomorrow for Tolaga and Tokomaru Bays and Gisborne. Wingatut was to leave Lyttelton at noon todav for Wellington and Auckland. WAI PI AT A is to leave Bluff this evening for Auckland via Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington.

PERSONAL.—Mr. 11. Martin has joined the Waikawa as second engineer, relieving Mr. McKeegan for holiday leave. Mr. J. G. Co'ckburn has been appointed third engineer on the Ivanna. Mr. J. S. Hardy has joined the Katoa as fourth engineer in place of Mr. Ross, who resigned. Mr. A. McArthur is the present second engineer on the Kapuni. Mr. <’. Thurston has relieved Mr. W. Roberts as third engineer of the Holmdale. THE WAIPAHI.-The fruit, steamer Waipahi is expected to arrive from Rarotonga tomorrow morning with a cargo of fruit from the Cook Islands, which she will unload at Queen’s Wharf. THE KAITUNA.—The Kaituna is expected to leave Melbourne tomorrow for Devonport (Tasmania) to complete loading for "Wellington and Auckland. THE POOLTA.—The steamer Poolta is expected to arrive tomorrow morning from Newcastle. She has a cargo of timber from Grafton, the local part of which will be discharged at King’s Wharf. THE RUAHINE.—The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahine is expected to arrive from Gisborne p.m. on Wednesday to complete loading for London. She clears this port on May 27 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. PLUME LEAVES SAN FRANCISCO. — The Vacuum Oil Company’s tanker Plume is reported to have sailed from an Francisco on Friday for Auckland, Sydney and Brisbane. She is due at Auckland about June 7. THE TAMAROA. —With passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tamaroa is to leave Southampton next Friday. The cargo is for discharge at Wellington and Lyttelton. She is scheduled to reach Wellington on June 24. THE TASMANIA. —The Federal Line advises that the Tasmania will now leave Wellington for Avonmouth, Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow tomorrow afternoon. She is to proceed via Montevideo. JUNE DUE TOMORROW NIGHT.— According to her radio advice due in port tomorrow night, the Norwegian steamer June is inward bound from Nauru Island with a full cargo of phosphates for discharge here. She will berth at King’s Wharf. Henderson and Maefarlane Ltd. is the agent. RANG I TATA COMING.—The New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor-liner Rangitata is expected to leave Wellington this afternoon for Auckland to complete discharge of her general cargo from London and to commence her Homeward loading. She should arrive here on Wednesday morning and is to berth at Prince’s Wharf. MAUNGANUI DUE 7 A.M.—Wireless advice received by the Union Company from its intercolonial passenger steamer Maunganui states that she expects to arrive in the stream here from Sydney at 7 o’clock tomorrow morning. After pratique has been granted she will berth at Queen's Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. She is scheduled to sail on her return trip to Sydney at 3 p.m. on Friday. NIAGARA ARRIVES.—The Roval Mail liner Niagara arrived in port late this morning from Suva, en route from Vancouver to Sydney. After pratique had been granted she berthed at Prince’s Wharf to land her New Zealand passengers, malls and cargo. The vessel is scheduled to resume her voyage to Sydney at 5 p.m. tomorrow. KENT REPORTED.—CabIed advice from Panama report:? the arrival of the Federal Line steamer Kent last Monday eji route from Liverpool to Auckland. She continued her voyage on Tuesday, being due at Auckland on June 3. WEIRBANK FROM CHILE—The Bank Line motor-ship Weirbank is reported to have cleared Antofagasta, Chile, last Friday, with a nitrate cargo for discharge at Auckland, Sydney. Melbourne, Adelaide and Fremantle. She is due at Auckland about June 10. THE TARANAKl.—Telegraphic advice received by L. D. Nathan, Ltd., states that the Shaw, Savill motor-ship Taranaki, now at New Plymouth loading for London, is to be dispatched from there at midnight tonight for Auckland to continue filling up. She should therefore arrive here late on Wednesday. She is to berth at Queen’s Wharf and is to sail again on Saturday for Napier and Wellington to complete, and is scheduled fo clear Wellington on May 31 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. CITY OF OSAKA ARRIVES.—The Ellerman-Hall Line steamer City of Osaka arrived early this morning from New York with general cargo from East Coast' of America. She berthed at Prince’s Wharf to unload the local part of her cargo, and her Auckland agent, the New Zealand Shipping Company, hopes to dispatch her tomorrow evening for Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel left New York on April 16 and passed Panama on April 25. She experienced a fair-weather passage all the way. Captain W. H. Smith is in command, and has with him the following officers:— Chief, Mr. T. L. Vaughan; second. Mr. G. E. M. Jenkins; third, Mr. A. Niblock; chief engineer, Mr. .T. W. Robinson; second, Mr. W. S. Whiteside; third, Mr. S. Hill, fourth, Mr. T. E. Beatson; radio operator, Mr. A. E. S. Thompson; chief steward, Mr. W. H. Heard.
