Twenty-nine schools have entered pupils for the annual Anzac Banner essay competition conducted by the Returned Soldiers’ Association. The sub: ject is “The Cenotaph.” Mr. J. Armstrong, secretary of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Educational Institute, and Mr. F. A. Clarke are the judges.
