“THEY HAD TO SEE PARIS” “They Had to See Paris,” a delicious comedy introducing the world-famous American comedian, Will Rogers, will delight audiences at the Rialto Theatre, Newmarket, again this evening. Mr. Rogers gives a wonderful interpretation of an ignorant though genial Oklahoma garage proprietor, who is suddenly rich through an oil boom. His i wife succumbs almost immediately to I the social bug and they all set sail for Paris to seek “culture” and a titled ; husband for the daughter. Needless to say, everything go**s wrong, largely through the activities of Mr. Rogers. . i A full programme of shorter talkie j items will also be presented.
