AFTER TWO YEARS

CHARGE OF DEMANDING MONEY ALLEGATIONS OF MENACE After being two years at liberty, George McWilliams was arrested by Detective-Sergeant McHugh at 8 p.m. yesterday on a charge of demanding money with menaces. Accused appeared at the Police Court this morning and was remanded until Thursday.

The full charge against McWilliams, alias Gordon McKenna, a labourer, aged 30, was that on April 14, 1928, liedemanded, with menaces. £4O from Hugh Gilmour with intent to steal it. Accused was stated to have no fixed place of abode. Police allegations are that Gilmcur was threatened by accused in a house at Parnell two years ago.
