STONED THE POLICE
RIFLE-FIRE DISPERSES AN ANGRY INDIAN MOB NINETY PERSONS INJURED Reed. 9.30 a.m. DELHI, Friday. Nin-ty persons were injured, five Precariously, in a riot at Mymens‘ngh, in East Bengal, following the efforts of the Congress volunteers to Prevent liquor being removed from the Government depots. A mob of 2,000 stoned the police, who were forced to open fire and disperse them.
