SUPPORTED BY CHEMISTS

Goods made in the Dominion are favoured by the Chemists* Defence Association of New Zealand, which has sent a letter to the Manufacturers’ Association indicating its decision to support the campaign for New Zealand manufacturers. At the recent conference of the Chemists’ Defence Association the following resolution was carried unanimously: “That chemists give special attention to goods produced in New* Zealand, in support of the local industries campaign, and that from time to time special displays of locally-produced goods be made. Also that it be a recommendation to manufacturers* associations that a New Zealand dav or a New Zealand week be established on similar lines to Australia day.’*
