In every community where a few poultry-keepers are gathered together, the formation of a society or association is a desirable step toward progress. It has always been proved that far more can be attained by united effort than by independence, and, whether it be regarded as an industry or as a hobby, poultry-keeping can be more successfully carried on where its adherents combine for mutual assistance.
