MORRINSVILLE CEREMONY TYLER—SMITH The marriage of Miss Joyce Edna Smith. 3’oungest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, of Wilson Street, Upper Hutt, to Eric Green way Tyler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Tyler, of Ruawai, was celebrated in the Gospel Hall, Morrinsville, on Saturday afternoon. The Rev. G. N. Garlick performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of pink crepe de chine, embroidered in darker shades with touches of silver. Her veil was of embroidered tulle, which fell from a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet of pink and dark cream chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid was Miss Doreen Jacobsen, niece of the bride, who wore ipauve crepe de chine, and a felt hat to tone; and carried a bouquet of autumn flowers. The little flower girl was Joy Wylie, I also a niece of the bride, who wore an | apricot crepe de chine dress and hat j to match, her basket of flowers matching the bride’s bouquet. Mr. G. Smith, brother of the bride, was best man. ! The reception was held in the ) Lounge Tearooms, which was prettily j decorated for the occasion. Mrs. ; Smith wore a frock of black satin and j hat to match. Mrs. Tyler Was in a. j navy blue satin frock, with fawn hat.
