A FTER being disappointed over A its fixture for the Earthquake Relief Fund, owing to no suitable date being available, the Forbury Park Trotting Club is again makina an attempt to prove its charitableness. An application was made recently to the Mi n ister of I eternal Affairs for permission to hold a two-day carnival to raise funds for the relief of the unemployed. The application has been granted and the club will arrive at a decision on Tuesday next regarding dates for the function.
