CLEARING SALE
From Our Oxen Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., Hamilton, reports holding* a successful clearing sale at Ngaruawahia on Thursday on account of Mr. P. Woods. The cows were rather low in condition, but mostly all due to calve at early factory dates. Implements and sundries met with brisk competition. Best cows made £lO to £l2, others £7 10s I® backward sorts, £5 to £6 10s; cest springing heifers, £lO to £ll 15s; , e i rs> 10s to £9 ss; sows in pig, *3 12s 6d to £4 7s 6d.
