LONGER WEEK BILL IN STATE ASSEMBLY SALARY CUT INTRODUCED* Reed. 10.20 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. A cut of one-twelfth in public servants’ salaries is proposed in a Bill which passed its first reading in the Legislative Assembly. The Forty-four Hour Repeal Bill was taken through the committee stage, the vital clause being carried by 44 votes to 43.
