DEATH OF CYCLIST
OPENING OF INQUEST An inquest was opened before Mr. F. K. Hunt. S.M., coroner, yesterday, into the death of Bertral Thomas Browne, who died in the Auckland Hospital on Wednesday following an accident on Tuesday. The body was identified by the father of deceased, Mr. R. P. Browne, a carpenter, of 47 Williamson's Avenue, Grey Lynn. Witness said his son. who was 15 years of age, was employed as a hawker. According to the police stalement, Browne was involved in a collision when riding his bicycle early on Tuesday evening He received head injuries and died at the Auckland Hospital at 9 p.m. on. the following day.
