JEWELLER’S SHOP ENTERED PROBATION AND BORSTAL Press Association PALMERSTON X., Today. Thomas Melrose, aged 19, ,and Nelson Mayes, aged 20, who pleaded guilty to a charge of breaking and entering the premises of T. Ire ton, a jeweller, of Cuba. Street, apepared before the of Cuba Street, Sir Michael Myers, in the Supreme Court for sentence today. Melrose AA'as admitted to probation for t aa'o years, special conditions being that he repay' within three months half the damage to the Avindow and half the costs and keep away from hotels.
