MORE DEATHS, FEWER BIRTHS I*i ess Association WELLINGTON, Today. During April the total live births registered for the urban areas amounted to 951. as against 1.030 in March, a decrease, of 79. The deaths in April totalled 454, an increase of 14 compared with the previous month. Of the total deaths males contributed £44. females 240. Forty-two of the deaths were of children, under five rears of age. being S.6S per cent, of the whole. Of this number 31 were tinder one year of age.
