DOMINIONS TO BE CONSULTED EXAMINATION OF NEEDS United P.A.—By Telegraph—Copyright Reed. 1.30 p.m. LONDON, Wednesday. In the House of Commons, Captain R. A. Eden inquired if there v:as auy decision, as the outcome of the Naval Conference, to proceed with the Singapore base, as agreed upon at the Imperial Conference of 1926. Mr. A. V. Alexander, First Lord of the Admiralty, said the question was still being considered. Captain Eden: Why a further delay beyond the three months promised? Mr. Alexander: We are anxious that ihe Dominions should be consulted. It is most important to examine the whole facts.
