FARMING SCHOLARSHIP
OIL COMPANY’S GIFT Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. A sum of £25 a year to provide a scholarship at Lincoln, College has been accepted by the Board of Governors from the Shell Oil Company of New Zealand, Limited. The company’s offer stated: —“TO assist the education of those who are studying the primary industries of- the Dominion, we should like to give each 3’ear £25 to be awarded as a scholarship. We attach no conditions to this scholarship other than that it should be known as the Shell Scholarship.”
