LAY-OUT OF CHRISTCHURCH “SQUARE” TRAMWAY SHELTER TO GO~~ Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. A final decision in regard to Cathedral Square was reached by the United Square Committee yesterday. The committee decided that the tramway shelter should be removed and that everything except the underground conveniences should be removed from their present position on the Godley Statue Reserve. Provision was made for two small tramway shelters on the understanding that when the time came for the trams to be cleared from the Square they also were to be removed.
