ST. JAMES
“ON WITH THE SHOW” I Xatural colour photography marks the Warner Brothers’ production “On With the Show,” which is now in the last days of its successful season at the St. James Theatre. In addition to an entertaining story, the picture possesses spectacular stage settings revealing brilliant costumes and finished dancing. Betty Compson fills the leading role of an actress in a musical comedy. Arthur Lake plays opposite, while the supporting cast includes Sally O’Xeil. Louise Fazenda and Joe E. Brown. The high standard set in the principal picture is maintained throughout the supporting programme, which includes instrumental and vocal items, and a comedy.
