RIALTO, NEWMARKET
"THE SKY HAWK” Opening with an exciting smash-up o£ a plane when the pilot swerves to avoi<t killing a girl, ‘‘The Sky Hawk,” at the Rialto Theatre, Newmarket, maintains a high pitch throughout. Spectacular scenes of London streets and cafes during the hectic gaiety of wartime, and in the panic of a, Zeppelin raid—scenes never before produced on such a tremendous scale — carry tho story oil to the dramatic suspense of the young flier's unexpected departure for France. Enacted by a hand-picked cast, written, directed, and staged by experts, the production is creating a sensation wherever it has been shown. Brilliant John Garrick, the young British flier-actor, hailed as the talking screen's newest find, and Helen Chandler, are the stars. Excellent talkie supports are also being shown. During the school holidays this week a special matinee will be presented at the Rialto every afternoon. The chief attraction will be a wonderful natural history picture entitled "Maya the Bee.” an educational but thrilling feature that took years to film, and will bo enjoyed by young and old.
