ANNUAL REUNION More than 100 were present at the 12th annual reunion of the Waiuku Returned Soldiers’ Association, held in the Oddfellows’ Hall. Waiuku, on Saturday evening. It proved to be the most successful function of its kind held for many years. Among those present were Mr. E. H. Sharp, secretary of the Auckland Returned Soldiers’ Association, and Mr. S. P. Day, secretary of the Pukekohe branch of the Returned Soldiers’ Association. Colonel M. Aldred, who presided, welcomed all visitors, and expressed his satisfaction at the good attendance of local men. He briefly referred to the good work done by the Returned Soldiers’ Association, and appealed to all returned men to stick to their respective associations. An excellent musical programme was given by Messrs. Stan and Owen Fiitchard and Rex Yates, while Mr. Hubbard was pianist. Messrs. Smith - run and Austin, from the Ponsonby Social Club, were also in fine form, and all the items were warmly encored
