GETTING READY FOR JUNE
THE Ashhurst trainer, Harry Garnett, is preparing a useful team with which to invade Auckland next month. Recently he informed “Abaydos” that he had taken over the speedy mare Lady Jewel and hoped 'to have her in readiness for Alexandra Park. Great Delight was showing signs of a return to form and with the sturdy trotters, Brian Bingen and Audo Spray, would make the trip North. Since signing on with Garnett, Brian Bingen has become more solid, and he may prove the best of the Ashhurst visitors next mouth.
