A meeting last evening of the New Zealand Golf Council decided to award the New Zealand golf championships this year to Titirangi. Two course? were applying for the meeting. Tiiirangi and Palmerston North. The council's decision followed n report which was prepared for them by various inspecting officers, one of whom is understood to have been Major A. K. Conway, past Wellington provincial amateur champion.
